We are so proud to announce that our wonderful fundraising volunteer, Marion Dante, has won the coveted ‘Volunteer of The Year’ award at the 2024 Royal Surrey Stars. Marion has been tirelessly fundraising for us for more than 25 years. Her unwavering commitment has impacted countless lives, ensuring that we can continue to provide vital support to cancer patients and their families.

Marion's fundraising initiatives have ranged from organising large scale events to mobilising local volunteers and businesses, all driven by her deep empathy and resolve. Her leadership and tenacity has also inspired many people to join her in her fundraising work. Marion's longstanding commitment to the Fountain Centre is testament to her extraordinary character and unwavering dedication to making a difference. Her remarkable contributions have not only sustained but also enriched the services of the Fountain Centre.

As she reaches her 80th year, Marion's 25 years of fundraising and advocacy for the Fountain Centre is truly commendable, and this award is a fitting tribute to her in this very special year.
