Christmas Concert, Guildford – 10 December

What better way to get into the Christmas spirit and to support a very worthy cause than to come to The Fountain Centre Christmas Concert!

The Christmas Concert is drawing together a number of people whose lives have been touched by cancer. They have a choir performing which is made up of breast cancer survivors called ‘The Kindred Spirits’ from Frimley Park Hospital as well a large choir made up of singers from across the area. Many of the choir members have had first hand experience of cancer and are coming together in support of the wonderful work that the Fountain Centre does.

The concert will also feature Christmas readings from some of the Centre’s patients and volunteers. We hope it will be an evening of great music and readings that speak to the heart of what The Fountain Centre stands for. The Fountain Centre is very proud to have Kathryn Harries as a Patron. Kathryn is an international operatic soprano and is the Director of the National Operatic Studios, London. She is renowned for the extraordinary breadth of her repertoire and for the dramatic intensity of her performances, and will be our lead soloist. The concert will be full of the traditional Christmas music we all know and love and the audience will be encouraged to sing along too!

There will be an interval where mince pies and mulled wine will be served. Please come along and start your Christmas season off in a truly beautiful setting with joyful music and in support of a very worthy charity.
