A series of talks on cancer organised jointly by Surrey County Council Libraries Service and The Fountain Centre, St Luke’s Cancer Centre, Royal Surrey Hospital.

The Fountain Centre is proud to be the Mayor of Guildford, Cllr Terence Patrick’s chosen charity for his mayoral term.

As editor of Overcoming Cancer: 24 True Stories of Triumph and Hope, Ginny Fraser will talk about personal experiences of coping with diagnosis, treatment and the aftermath of cancer – and emerging as a survivor. Followed by:
A performance from the Singing for Well-being Group, A group of African women sharing the joy of music and singing together to improve their well-being, reduce social isolation as well as sharing their culture to a wider audience.

All events will be held at The Guildhall, High Street, Guildford
Tickets £5 per event or £12 for all 3 (to include refreshments)
