Integrated Cancer Care
Many Cancer patients now use non-conventional anticancer therapies either in conjunction with, or instead of conventional anticancer therapies, these therapies are not provided by the NHS and Patients using alternative or non-conventional anticancer therapies do so outside the conventional NHS system. Integrated Cancer Care (ICC) is based at the Fountain Centre within the St. Luke's Cancer Centre at the Royal Surrey Hospital. ICC integrates the Medical, Psychosocial and supportive care of patients using alternative or non-conventional anticancer treatments back into the NHS within the setting of a NHS Cancer centre The aim of Integrated Cancer Care is not to initiate any alternative or non conventional therapies, the main aim is to provide medical and psychosocial support for patients (and their families) using non conventional anti cancer treatment, irrespective of whether these treatments are being used in conjunction with or alternative to conventional anticancer therapy. All our services are free of charge for patients and we serve patients from all over the UK. and beyond
